Ein Hackintosh Tablet ist ein Gerät, das nicht von Apple kommt, aber mit dem Appel Betriebssystem OS X läuft. Axon Logic präsentiert dieses Tablet mit dem Namen Axon Haptic. Die Maschine ist so konzipiert, das sie mit Darwin OS kompatibel ist. Weitere technische Details nach dem Break.
Der Hersteller des Axon Haptic sagt über diesem System:
„Besides using only quality components, they are specifically chosen to be compatible with Darwin. That gives you the freedom to run, in addition to Windows and Linux, any* Darwin OS. Darwin and all of its required components such as the mach_kernel and kexts are on an EFI partition to make it effortless to install your favorite XNU/Darwin OS. Just pop in the disk, and follow the directions.“
In dem Hackintosh Tablet arbeitet ein Intel Atom N270 Prozessor mit 1,6 GHz. Der 10 Inch große widerstandsfähige Touchscreen mit LED Hintergrundbeleuchtung hat eine Auflösung von 1024 × 600 Pixel. Der Arbeitsspeicher hat 2 Gigabyte und die Festplatte ein Speichervolumen von 320 Gigabyte. 3000mAh Akku-Leistung ermöglichen 3 Stunden mobiles arbeiten. Das Axon Haptic kann man ab sofort für 750,– US Dollar auf der Seite von Axon-Logic bestellen.
